Water hazards snake through seven holes with surgical intent, particularly the island green par-3 that plays longer than its yardage suggests in the persistent Oregon breeze. What elevates this track above typical daily-fee fare is Fought's restraint—he carved golf holes through the forest rather than bulldozing it into submission.
