Creek crossings on three holes add bite to what might otherwise be a straightforward Central New York track, particularly the short par-4 6th where water hugs the left side from tee to green. This muni punches above its weight with conditioning that rivals many private clubs in the region, making it a legitimate test when the wind whips across those exposed hilltops.
