COURSE OVERVIEW
The routing threads through mature Michigan hardwoods where elevation changes of 40 feet create natural amphitheaters around several greens, particularly the downhill par-3 12th that plays to a green surrounded by towering oaks. Donald Ross's 1925 design remains largely intact, with subtle green complexes that reward precise approach shots and punish anything hit to the wrong tier. At just over 6,400 yards from the tips, it's a thinking player's course where local knowledge of the sloped putting surfaces proves more valuable than raw distance.
