COURSE OVERVIEW
The rolling prairie terrain southwest of Decatur delivers a surprisingly demanding test through mature hardwood corridors and strategically placed water hazards on nearly half the holes. Dick Nugent's 1989 design makes brilliant use of the natural topography, particularly on the back nine where elevation changes force creative shot-making around Hickory Creek. At just over 6,400 yards from the tips, it's the kind of honest, no-nonsense public track where course management trumps raw distance every time.
