Architect Rick Jacobson routed the track through natural wetlands and over rolling terrain that plays faster than the scorecard suggests, with several holes requiring forced carries over marshland that separate the confident from the tentative. The finishing stretch along the wetlands provides a stern test where wind direction can turn a comfortable approach into a white-knuckle recovery shot.
