WHERE IT RANKS#79in Bay Area— Ahead of San Ramon Gc, just behind Mare Island Gc
COURSE OVERVIEW
The rolling hills of Sonoma County create natural amphitheaters for several holes here, where elevation changes of 200 feet reward aggressive lines with dramatic downhill approaches into well-guarded greens. Designer William Bell Jr. routed this layout through native oak groves and seasonal creeks that come into play on at least six holes, demanding course management over raw distance. The back nine climbs into wine country terrain where the par-3 16th plays across a ravine to a green perched like a putting surface in the sky—pure Northern California golf at municipal rates.
SIGNATURE HOLE
A demanding par 3 that requires precision off the tee.
