This Robert Trent Jones Jr. design carved into the Pleasanton hills delivers dramatic elevation changes and sweeping views of the Livermore Valley that make every round feel like a mountain resort experience, despite being just 30 minutes from San Francisco. The par-3 17th plays downhill over a canyon to a green perched on the opposite ridge, demanding precise club selection in the often-swirling East Bay winds. Jones maximized the natural terrain here, creating a layout where strategic positioning off the tee becomes crucial as you navigate doglegs that follow the contours of these rolling foothills.
